endway All told a very evocative and intricate record, beats and lyrics flow really well together but in a way that feels almost understated at times. And then there's tracks like Spinning Away that just blow your head off. All in all, strongly recommended. Favorite track: Spinning Away.

thatoneasianguy Sims probably put out one of his best records yet. The album grew on me more and more and it's both conceptual yet also a complete banger as well. Love it and cannot wait to see what else he has in store. DOOMTREE for life!!! Favorite track: Brutal Dance.

Forest Hill It took me several listens to warm up to this album, but I think it may have passed Bad Time Zoo as my favorite Sims album. It's a spectacular arrangement of killer tracks full of raw emotion. Keep it up Sims! Favorite track: Brutal Dance.

Jeff Aldrich Love this album. Like a great novel, but great poetry. Sentiment for our times. Favorite track: Brutal Dance.

about

Sims Minneapolis, Minnesota

Life and loss and dance parties. Sex and love and fractal math. Sims wrote More Than Ever last winter in the wake of some personally trying times: death and sickness in his immediate circle of friends and family. And he decided that the only acceptable answer to big loss is big joy—urgent, defiant, unapologetic joy. ... more
